How to Give Ticket Creation and File Upload Permissions to IAM Users

In this tutorial, we’ll create a new group in the IAM module and assign the necessary permissions. This group will allow selected IAM users to have "ticket creation" and "file attachment" permissions.

1- Go to the IAM module and open the Groups page.

2- Click on the "Add New" button.

3- Enter a suitable "Group Name". For example; Xcloud User Authorizations.

4- Click on the "Add Policies" button.

5- Click the "Choose a Product" button and choose the "Support" product.

6- Click the "Choose a Service" button and choose either Ticket Creation or File Attachment permissions.

7- Click the "Action" button and define either Read Only or Full Access as the permission level for the user.

8- Click "Add Policies" to create the group.

9- After granting all necessary permissions to your group, click on the "Create a group" button and create your group.

  • If you wish to add multiple permissions to the same group, click the Add New button on the same page and follow the steps above to add a new policy.
