Cross Access Network
Cross Access Network is a secure and private communication configuration between your virtual machines (VM), Kubernetes environments, and databases. With this configuration, your virtual machines and Kubernetes environments on CCE can directly access the databases on DBP. This allows you to integrate two different cloud solutions and use them seamlessly as a single product.
Key Advantages
- Secure Access:
Prevents your data from being exposed to the public internet, ensuring secure communication.
- Router Configuration:
If you create a router over the VAP Network, you can access DBP databases using the External IP of the router.
- Direct Access:
Even without creating a router, virtual machines created through the VAP Network can directly access DBP databases. However, using a router provides additional control for data security and traffic management.
- Access via Kubernetes:
Cross Access Network configuration also allows secure access to DBP databases from Kubernetes environments. However, you must configure Kubernetes over the VAP Network.
- To establish a successful connection, the router in CCE must be configured over the VAP Network, and the External IP of the created router must be added to the Cross Access Network configuration.
