Content Delivery Network (CDN)

DT Cloud CDN is a unique approach to CDN for hosting providers. It' is a federated CDN platform that uses spare capacity in DT Clouds to provide a global network of low-cost and high-performance CDN PoPs (Point of Presence).

By distributing content closer to website visitors using a nearby CDN server (among other optimizations), visitors can access content faster, with faster page loading. Through caching and other optimizations, CDNs can reduce the amount of data a source server must provide, thereby reducing hosting costs for website owners. Thanks to its distributed architecture, the CDN can handle more traffic and withstand hardware failures better than many source servers. It increases security by providing hardware as well as other optimizations such as improvements to DDOS and security certificates.
