Acronis Usage Guide

Users who purchase the Acronis service must have the necessary authorizations assigned to their respective projects in order to use the service.

After the service is activated, the following roles must be assigned to the relevant project:

  • Quota Manager

  • Image Upload

  • Compute

These roles allow users to create virtual machines using the Acronis image and manage the required resources.

note

When creating a virtual machine with the Acronis image, it is recommended to meet the following minimum resource requirements:

  • 2 vCPU

  • 4 GB RAM

For workloads that require higher performance or larger backup capacity, allocating more resources is recommended.

Agent Activation

To activate the Acronis agent, the following information must be entered during the installation process:

  • Domain Username

  • Domain Password

  • Cluster IP information

These details are used according to the domain configuration defined for the relevant CCE project.

note

If the user has previously changed the domain credentials, validation errors may occur during agent activation. In such cases, it is recommended to contact the support team.
